Why Cite?
The point of citation is to give credit to the author of your sources and explain to your professor (and other readers) where you found the information to support the argument of your paper.
IN-TEXT CITATION
Brief citations within the text of your paper, often in parenthesis, which point out where research, ideas, theories and quotes originated.
